“Celebrity” waiters and waitresses served food to Spencer Community Theatre patrons Saturday night as part of a fundraiser for Spencer Main Street’s Micro Grant program. “It’s all Nancy Naeve’s fault,” Eric Meeter joked regarding his new Grand Avenue endeavor, working alongside his father Greg, mother Lorelei and wife Kristen. Eric, who sits on the Spencer MainStreet Spencer Board, attended a meeting where Naeve indicated Don Hemphill might be looking to sell his downtown office location as well as other properties which were damaged during the January 2023 fire. It started the wheel’s turning.
