Meta CEO Zuckerberg sold shares in November as part of a trading plan. In total, he unloaded almost 590,000 shares over the month, according to SEC filings.

Meta's earning report for the third quarter of 2023 were upbeat as its profits doubled. But all is not well for the company as it faces uncertainty in the future.

The app was launched in April 2020 to let users watch their favourite streamers, play instant games and take part in gaming groups.

Meta said that it is also removing vanish mode from Messenger, but disappearing messages will still be available in the settings of end-to-end encrypted chats.

Facebook's Meta's profit soundly beat Wall Street targets at $2.72 per share, compared with an average analyst estimate of $2.56.

Share prices of both Facebook and Netflix were down on the US stock market.
