Eula was born in Bridport, Vt. She was the thirteenth of fourteen children born to the farming family of Charles and Eula Carpenter Huestis. She is predeceased by her parents, her twelve older siblings, and her husband of forty years, Vernon Pedro. As a girl, Eula’s dream was to leave the farm. ...
