The Chevy Volt Deserves Its Flowers, Even If People Never Learned to Use PHEVs Right
GM advertised the original Volt with up to 230 MPG. Buying one used revealed a lifetime MPG of just 26. It was so seamlessly designed, nobody had bothered plugging it in.
