The uncle of Jordan Neely, whose chokehold death on the subway sparked outcry, has been arrested again on new grand larceny charges a week after he appeared in court over similar offenses.

Christopher Neely, the uncle of the man killed during a subway confrontation earlier this month, was arrested again Wednesday morning just before he was scheduled to appear in court on a myriad of grand larceny charges.

Christopher Neely, an uncle of subway chokehold victim Jordan Neely's who was arrested for stealing credit cards, was released Wednesday after his attorney said he’d been a “rock” for his grieving family.
