Newly obtained security video from the night of Councilman Clayton Perry’s drunken hit-and-run shows he drank more than San Antonio Police had originally tallied, and much more than his attorney argued in court last month.

San Antonio City Councilman Clayton Perry drank more than 14 alcoholic beverages and repeatedly professed his love for a teenage drive-thru cashier shortly before crashing his Jeep into another vehicle and fleeing the scene, prosecution records obtained by KSAT Investigates show.

The District 10 councilman pleaded no contest in a Bexar County court to charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to exchange information relating to a Nov. 6 hit and run.

"Have a good time and party, but do it safely," councilman Clayton Perry told KENS 5 Friday.
