In the first count conducted following Tuesday's election, Wells won with 190 votes to challengers Cherieann Harrison's 189 and Evret Greer's 45.

Mike Wells won a seat on the Wilton Select Board by just one vote, and candidate Cherieann Harrison has since requested a recount. Incumbent Tiffany Maiuri won the other open seat on the board Tuesday night.
