Ex-Fort Hare official's bail bid 'a waste of time'
The state has labelled the fresh bid to be released on bail by former University of Fort Hare director of investigations and vetting, “a waste of time”. Isaac Plaatjies’ defence team has argued the evidence they brought before the Dimbaza magistrate’s court has weakened the state’s case against Plaatjies.
