overnight. ultimately they could both end up there. you have still the appointment of john mccain s more permanent successor. so we don t know what the governor there is going to do. either way, we were going to have the first female senator from arizona, which is noteworthy and sinema is the first since 1995 in that position. when you look at some of the exit polling, it is really interesting to see who has won and lost. one of the biggest jumps, i thought, was the latino vote. when you look at exit polls, it appears that sinema won 30% more than mcsally. she lost the white vote. perhaps that had to do with immigration. she is seen as more of a moderate. perhaps she s someone that the white house might see themselves
happens with this caravan coming across. we need the military there. we need to stop the people. we need to vet the people before they come in. i have a problem with people in large groups wanting to storm our borders. we don t know what is coming, we don t know what s there from diseased criminals. we don t know. what was one issue on your mind casting your vote? borders. according to exit polling, immigration policy was the top issue for republican voters in the midterms. since election day, we ve seen policy from the president but heard very little about that caravan. when we come back, i ll talk with michelle who is making history. -computer, order pizza. -of course, daniel. -fridge, weather. -clear skies and 75. -trash can, turn on the tv. -my pleasure. -ice dispenser, find me a dog sitter. -okay. -and make ice. -pizza delivered. -what s happened to my son? -i think that s just what people are like now. i mean, with progressive,
the president has proven that deregulation in tax cuts do work. people don t think that though if they look at the exit polling and health care was so disproportionately ahead of the economy in terms of the most important issue. neil: but joe donnelly in indiana. but that was one of the big surprises but it looks like kristin is going to end upcoming out on top in arizona i imagine in florida that rick scott still holds on and ron desantis, but when all is said and done in terms of congressional counting it looks like we get 38-40 seats once california is done. there s a huge blue wave there. neil: by the way those eight races that are still they re all leaning. neil: and that could change. of course it could. neil: but it puts the house more favored democrats for a while doesn t it? right but i mean coming into tuesday a lot of people believed there would be a blue wave across both the house and the senate. neil: the consensus was but the senate they would pick-up a
pete: where is all the coverage of evangelical women. exit polling revealing 74% are or strongly supporting the president. katie: here to react is host of cbn faith nation jenna browder. thanks for being here. good morning. thanks for having me. katie: tell us why evangelical women are voting for president trump in these elections and why is it they are being ignored by the media. these polls really come as no surprise. evangelical women i talk to, they support president trump for a lot of reasons. and policy is chief among them. you know, the supreme court, it s israel. it s his stance on life. and the other thing is that many evangelicals, women will tell you that they believe that god chose president trump to be in office and they believe that he uses imperfect people for his perfect will. and we were just with president trump about a week before the midterms flying with him on air force one and got to interview him. i can tell you this runs both ways. he has a deep understandin
himself. and today, and i have to associate myself with david jolley, he was very small today. and if you re congressman curbelo in florida, when your time in congress comes to an end, you have to kind of unspool your congressional office and your district offices and employees need some love and in addition to mispronouncing his name, this is what he gets. well, it s true. and i have to say, in this intervening period and given what happened with attorney general, former attorney general sessions today, there s no reason whatsoever that these particular republicans shouldn t align themselves with democrats in the house, right now in this sp intervening time to protect the mueller investigation. so for the democrats, should last night s results be about pre-existing conditions more than, can we get his tax returns, who should we subpoena, who s going to crack down on these committees? it should be both. you know, the exit polling
