not an action against anyone, he said last night and that means russia. but for president putin, he will see the reverse affect of the reason why he went to war in ukraine. nato now doubles the length or is likely to now double the length of the border with russia. and for president putin, trying to find an exit strategy that he can sell to russians for his as he calls it a special military operation and war in ukraine, the failure to keep nato at bay in his terms and in fact, the increase of nato s presence in his terms on russia s border will be an even harder sell. how russia react its to this is what concerns finland at the moment. and this is what we are hearing talking to people on the streets, rosemary. all right, nick joining us live, many thanks, appreciate that. it has been 11 weeks since
hill comes on the heels of comments from president biden who spoke at a fundraiser last night, and he says putin doesn t have an exit strategy from ukraine. when you hear that and combine it with what we re hearing from avril haines there about escalatory war, where do you think we re going right now? that s the problem is, you know, we ve often talked about vladimir putin as if he plays a weak hand well, you know, he uses threats and intimidations and that s worked for him. now he has turned over his cards and has shown that he is truly weak, and so he doesn t have a lot of places he can go. you know, he has to, you know, he has a lot of people and a lot of equipment that he can throw into the fight, so that he doesn t, you know, quote unquote lose, and so i think that s sort of the most obvious path for him is to, you know, continue to cause destruction and do his best and hope something good comes out of it. there s not a lot of easy options for him right now. the dni director w
states didn t seem to know what the exit strategy was, or what the end game was, or what the goal was, how to define it, that there s been an effort by this administration to say, more specifically, as it asks for more aid, as it heightens its profile, what is it that you want to achieve? and so i think we ve got out there, in crossing a threshold and then went a step too far about the language about the intelligence we were given. the intelligence is a step too far. yeah. it also, i mean, the united states public opinion is in such a weird place on this. americans want us to do as much as possible, but not have boots on the ground. i mean, can the biden administration really manage that very, very fine line that we seem to be in right now? i think it s very hard, and i also think that as they everyday roll out another 33 million, et
