Mess. Lets ta the fire. You can see some smoke sight now, this was in the chinatown district on webster street. It broke out around 8 30 a. M. Crews think it raced between two buildings in a tight space and got inside this building. They had to cut into the roof as you see there to gain access to the fire on the second floor. Here is another view from the ground. The building houses several businesses including the rang dang vietnamese restaurant. 70 firefighters on scene successfully prevented the fire from spreading to the buildings next door which were evacuated including a bank. The old buildings, were they built really closely to their neighbors so it always creates an issue with exposures.
