Sports reveal that we are worshiping beings, created with an insatiable desire to see glory. How can Christians take care that enjoying sports does not rival worshiping God?

In the pursuit of holiness, merely forsaking sinful desires will never be enough. Old desires need to be replaced by something more satisfying than sin.

The coronation of King Charles III was unquestionably a great opportunity to proclaim the Gospel in front of billions and it was set up beautifully. But the confusing and banal nature of the sermon means that it must be marked down as a missed golden opportunity.

It’s my hope that any man or woman reading this who struggles with porn will “dispossess” themselves of it by loving God, their spouse should they have one, and use Scripture to fight against “every encumbrance and the sin [like lust and porn] which so easily entangles us” (Heb. 12:1).

The key to overcoming pornography is not just to avoid pornography, but to discover that God and his will for you are far better.
