Caltrans Reopens State Route 190 Following Extensive Highway Repairs
Caltrans reopened State Route 190 between Olancha and State Route 136 following an extended closure caused by Tropical Storm Hilary. The highway originally closed on August 20, 2023, after Hilary swept through Inyo County and heavily damaged the pavement, destroying full sections of the road.
