Production at the Ganz Metal Works plant in Szolnok restarted this week. The site, which was bought back by the parent company in 2021, will manufacture the external steel structures of transformers for the transformer plant of Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines in Tápiószele, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The Factory Rescue Programme is intended to support companies in reducing their energy dependence. Partly  due to this, exports rose by ten percent.

The goal is to avoid recession in 2023 and to achieve 4 percent economic growth in 2024, while protecting pensioners, families and jobs.

He said that Hungary could moderate inflation, and the government's aim was to achieve single-digit inflation by the end of the year.
