HUNTINGTON — Latta’s School Furnishings & Playgrounds, a 93-year-old business in Huntington, is moving its operations to a new facility, according to company owner Mike Mullarky.

A supporter of a White Lives Matter group has been arrested for attempting to burn a church down over a Drag Queen Story Hour event.

The much-anticipated protests over drag shows in Chardon and Chesterland on Saturday, April 1, ended without incident. Only one protester showed up for the third event, a drag story time at Community Church of Chesterland. Dressed in black, the masked protester sat streetside and did nothing.

Last week the Proud Boys circulated notices encouraging protests at a sold-out drag brunch to take place Saturday at Element 41 in Chardon, sponsored by the Chesterland church.
