One of the donors has had severe attention deficit disorder his whole life. So do two of his grandchildren at Springer School in Hyde Park.

Also, Nemours Children’s Health has received $25 million to create a think tank in pediatric health equity, and Reed Hastings and Patty Quillin gave $10 million to support a long-standing partnership between Tougaloo College and Brown University.

Harry Fath and his wife Linda committed a $50 million gift to St. Xavier High School, the largest in the schools history designated toward tuition assistance.

Plus, the Juilliard School, Mercy Ships, and four universities received big gifts at the end of the year.
