The National Ballet of China(NBC) will present a brandnew Chinese version of the dance classic The Nutcracker as a special stage performance to celebrate the 20-year career of conductor Zhang Yi.

Among dozens of vividly dressed performers in white frilly dresses and outfits, a shining dynamic crystal lamp on the ceiling above them integrates perfectly to help push along a tragic story and maintain a balanced harmony on stage. Senior ballet choreographer Fei Bo, now the chief choreographer at the National Ballet of China (NBC), has again presented one of his most remarkable works to an audience: a medium-long adaptation of Shakespeares Hamlet.

Choreographer Fei Bo will celebrate his 20th anniversary in the job with a selection of his creations being performed at Tianqiao Theater in Beijing on Tuesday and Wednesday.

From July 5 to 6, Fei Bo, a senior choreographer at the National Ballet of China (NBC), will hold a solo performance at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

The National Ballet of China premiered its latest ballet production, Inspiration and Glory, at the Tianqiao Theater in Beijing on May 23, marking the centenary of the Communist Party of China.
