The Toyota BZ4X is finally in Australia, making it the first electric car that the auto giant has ever sold down under.

Toyota's top-dog HiLux GR Sport will land in Australian showrooms from September, wearing a pricetag to rival the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. That's right, you shouldn't expect this to be Toyota's answer to the popular, high-performance Ranger Raptor (which sits at $86,790 before on-road costs), as the HiLux GR Sport clocks in at just $73,990.

The Toyota GR Corolla hot hatch will cost $62,300 plus on-road costs in standard form – or more than $80,000 drive-away in radical-two-seat guise, making it the most expensive Toyota Corolla ever sold in Australia.

It’s one the the most highly-anticipated launches of the year and now it’s here in Australia, the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla. The price isn't too bad, either, considering it is all-wheel drive compared with some front-wheel drive rivals.

Australia will be offered two Toyota GR Corolla model grades – but pricing is yet to be revealed.

The first Toyota GR Corolla in Australia made a low-key cameo appearance at the Bathurst 1000.

After more than a year, Toyota GR Yaris order books will open again on November 10 – but only 160 cars will be available for the first 12 months, and not all dealers will receive an allocation.

Toyota Australia will resume orders for its GR Yaris hot hatch on 10 November, with availability having been paused since 1 July 2021. The

Toyota has confirmed that its new HiLux Rogue will be arriving in Australian dealerships through October, sitting in as the flagship variant before the GR Sport lands in 2023.

Toyota's upgraded and updated HiLux Rogue is due to arrive in showrooms next month, offering more off-road focused equipment at an unchanged price.
