According to the Draft Electoral Rolls-2024, the total number of general electors was 5,33,77,162, comprising 2,68,02,838 male electors, 2,65,69,428 female electors, and 4,896 other electors. ​

While the young voters between age group of 18 to 29 has shown an increase of around 1%, the voter percentage from age 40 to 80+ has shown a decrease of 3 per cent when compared to draft electoral roll.

The Election Commission (EC) has published the final electoral rolls for the 224 constituencies of Karnataka. The total electorate is 5,37,85,815, with a net increase of 4,08,653 compared to the draft rolls. Bengaluru South in Bengaluru Urban district has the highest number of electors, while Sringeri in Chikkamagaluru district has the lowest.

ADC and Electoral Registration Officer, Dimapur, Mhalo Humtsoe has informed that the final publication of the photo electoral roll w.r.t from January 1, 2024 as the qualifying date will be done on January 10 at 11:30 am in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. In this connection, all concerned have been requested to attend the final publication positively.
