OPPO has launched its top-end Find X5 and X5 Pro today (February 24, 2022). However, for those looking to spend less than flagship prices on their newest phone, the Lite variant of this series is also now an option. It boasts a 90Hz AMOLED display, a slim profile and a 64MP main camera.

Oppos big claim to fame with the Find X5 series is nighttime video recording and photography, an increasing area of focus for smartphone makers.

OPPO has been said to use flagship-grade processors from both Qualcomm and MediaTek in its upcoming top-end smartphone series since rumors of the devices in question, the Find X5 and X5 Pro, started to emerge. Now, the OEM has confirmed that this is in fact the case, and that the Pro will be, or at least will have, a Dimensity 9000 Edition.

OPPO is thought to launch a vanilla flagship variant with a top-end MediaTek processor (rather than one from Qualcomm as is more usual for the OEM) called the Find X5 in 2022. The putative device may have been fleshed out in a new report. It includes more details on each of its 3 high-res rear cameras.
