School leaders said law enforcement was on the scene within three minutes of the initial hoax call.

Findlay and Hancock County in Ohio are in a unique spot along the path of the eclipse.

The City of Findlay says an investigation revealed an unpleasant odor people were reporting at the end of last year and beginning of this year was originating from the Tall Timbers Industrial Park. (From the City of Findlay) On Thursday, November 9, the Findlay City Council Water & Sewer Committee voted to support the Administration’s proposal to raise water rates as of January 1, 2024. Though not required by Ordinance, as Water Rates are a function of the Administration and may be changed at anytime by the Service-Safety

Findlay Service-Safety Director Rob Martin addressed city council and community partners about the efforts being undertaken in response to the increased presence of homeless people in the community. Martin says both he and Mayor Muryn recognize that it is a frustrating and complex issue that did not show up overnight and won’t be solved overnight.

The tornado was on the ground for approximately 9 minutes Tuesday evening.
