The Jefferson City Lady Jays have been searching for solutions to fix their defensive woes this season, and they might’ve found the perfect combination Saturday against the Capital City Lady Cavaliers.

The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons set the tone from the opening batter of Wednesday’s contest against the Jefferson City Lady Jays at Jefferson City High School. Baley Rackers led off the contest with a hustle double, a sign of things to come for the Lady Falcons. Kally Bruce drove in Rackers two batters later with a double to give Blair Oaks momentum it would never give back in a 7-0 victory against the Lady Jays.

The Jefferson City Lady Jays are looking for consistency. After an up-and-down start to the season, the Lady Jays feel like they took a good step in the right direction Tuesday.

Good pitching and defense led the way Tuesday night for the Fatima Lady Comets. Mia Kliethermes allowed just two hits in six innings in the circle and the Lady Comets made just one error, leading the way to a 6-2 victory against the Jefferson City Lady Jays at Jefferson City High School.
