The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Thursday that the death sentences of eight former Navy personnel employed by the Al Dahra company in Qatar have been reduced by the Court of Appeal of Qatar. The initial death penalty was handed down by the Court of First Instance in October, accusing the individuals of spying on a submarine program.
