High pressure keeps us dry with sunshine and kicks off a gradual warming trend. Highs eventually reach the 70s.

A chilly start to kick off the work week. Many areas are starting out in the 30s and low 40s. Temperatures will warm to the upper 50s to near 60 during the afternoon.

Areas that saw rain on Saturday will continue to see rain on Sunday. Temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s next week.

More sunshine will break out across Virginia as the day progresses. North Carolina will still have to deal with some clouds and even a few showers.

High temperatures make a 15 degree jump Thursday before falling into the 50s after a powerful cold front. Not a bad holiday weekend ahead.

A nice work week on tap. Temperatures will trend above normal through Thursday. A cold front will bring showers for Friday and Saturday.
