A mix of sun and clouds today with highs in the upper 70s. Sunshine and 60s tomorrow. Warming to near 80 on Thursday. Tracking showers for Friday and Saturday.

A big warm up today. Temperatures will soar to the mid and upper 70s for Election Day. It will be breezy with winds out of the southwest at 10-15 mph, with higher gusts.

Temperatures go up and down throughout the workweek. A cold front brings rain late in the week into Veterans Day.

Mostly sunny today with highs near 70. Highs in the 60s and 70s most of this week. Tracking showers for Friday to Saturday. Highs in the 50s this weekend.

We stay in this dry stretch with plenty of sunshine and temperatures keep climbing. We'll see another cool down with a cold front at the end of next week.

Another mild day on tap today. The sun will be rising an hour earlier. Sunrise will be at 6:32 AM. We'll see a few more clouds during the morning hours, but it will be dry with highs near 70.

High pressure keeps the sunshine around all weekend long. A disturbance near the coast could bring a couple showers to the Outer Banks though. Temperatures continue to warm into next week.

Another nice weekend on tap. Temperatures will warm to the mid 60s to the low 70s. Sunshine and above-normal temps will be the story through Thursday before a cold front moves in.

Freezing conditions along the coast tonight before a warming trend brings us a very pleasant weekend.
