Apparently, Im living in a world that just makes no sense. I dont ever remember a game between two competent teams in this league ending with ten turnovers as there was in the duel between the Iowa Barnstormers and the Chicago Rush on Friday night.

I just love how well this league keeps its statistics right now. Apparently Milwaukee Iron QB Chris Greisen has three receptions and a made extra point on the season. I mean, if the dude has 12 more games like he did the first three, he's going to throw 128 touchdown passes against exactly zero interceptions. Do we really need to give him credit for any more stats than that?

Three years in a row, the San Jose SaberCats fared well during the regular season and clinched a spot in the playoffs only to be knocked out by the eventual ArenaBowl champions, and also their biggest rival, in the Arizona desert.

On Friday night, the Tampa Bay Storm picked up their first win in front of the home fans since June of 2014. While a 42-13 thrashing of the New Orleans VooDoo was certainly nice to see, an important opportunity now presents itself this week in Cleveland.

When we last left the Albany Empire, they were left looking at the Washington Valor celebrating a shocking playoff series victory at the Times Union Center last July. Despite a successful inaugural season in Albany that saw the team clinch the number-one overall seed in the playoffs with numerous individual award winners, it was a disappointing ending.

And then there were eight. The San Jose SaberCats floated around without an owner for a month or so, but they likely won't be continuing in the Arena Football League or playing in a lower level of indoor football next season.

The 2008 season for the Orlando Predators has been a roller coaster which has seen tremendous highs and equally demoralizing lows.

It is always an unfortunate situation when any professional team has to relocate. For many reasons, inclement weather or other dire constraints puts a lot of pressure on the host team to have a game. This holds the most crucial in football because of such a short schedule.

The Arizona Rattlers have dealt with a lot in the first 12 games of the 2015 season. Major injuries, suspensions, players quitting mid-week -- but one constant has remained all year -- solid defense. In fact, that defensive strength is a huge reason the Rattlers sit at 10-2 and still have a shot at nabbing home field advantage in the two-horse National Conference.

The 2013 Arena Football League season has been full of twists and turns, but in the most shocking twist, the league office has apparently called an audible on the eve of the postseason. According to a report in the Spokesman-Review, Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz has stated that the No. 1 seed in the National Conference has not been settled. The report does not say that the Arizona Rattlers haven't clinched the No. 1 seed, but it doesn't affirm that thought either.
