Saturday night's game for the Kansas City Command against the Arizona Rattlers did not have the outcome they had hoped, as they fell 63-49. With a small crowd of 4,166 fans, the Command dropped to 1-4 loss without really understanding why.

First it was Rayshaun Kizer. Then it was Nathan Stanley. In back to back weeks these two prime position players were off the roster on bad injuries. The KISS have though looked more than just pedestrian with trying to put together the pieces with a tough battle against Arizona last week.

Rod Windsor is at it again. Windsor is the 15th man in AFL history to log 10,000 receiving yards for his career.

Both teams started rookie quarterbacks and the Command rookie outplayed the Sharks rookie in the first half, but this was not enough as the Command fell to the Sharks by a final score of 52-28, in front of 5161 fans.

Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena is already full of red banners hanging from the rafters with division titles and an ArenaBowl championship. The year 2014 though, was the first in the history of the Jacksonville Sharks where there was nothing to celebrate.

After much speculation over the course of the last several months, one of the longest standing franchises in the Arena Football League will be taken over by one of Orlando's richest men. David Siegel, the owner of Westgate Resorts, has reportedly bought the Preds, according a report in the Las Vegas Sun.

The two West Coast OT thrillers highlighted the first week of the league's 25th season, but its first game was perhaps the lowest point in the league's history.
