A drive along the Memorial Parkway in Utica right now makes one feel like theyre riding a wave of red, white and blue.

The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club Flags for Heroes will fly again on the Shelton Riverwalk, and for the first time, also on the Derby Green.

Drive by the flags between 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and honk your horn in honor of your heroes. Honk Your Horn for Your Heroes event concludes at 6 p.m. with the playing of Taps at Ropes Park.
