Henderson County (May 10, 2023) - The Hendersonville City Council agreed last week fully funded requests that boost farming and industry recruitment, support public transit and promote water quality of the Mills River and agreed to partially fund 29 other requests from nonprofits in human services, education, health care, the environment and the arts.

Laura ‘Jean’ Lancour FLAT ROCK, Mich. — Laura “Jean” Lancour, age 85, of Flat Rock, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 1, 2021, at U.P. Health Systems of Marquette under Hospice care. Jean was born in Escanaba on November 26, 1935, the daughter of Herbert and Laura (Foster) Hoes.
