significant flooding from minnesota and to the far southern states in the coming days and weeks, and so it is going to be something to watch. this white line is where the mississippi river valley begin, and so basically, the snow south of that is going to flow into the mississippi river. a lot of it has been melting, and we dn have much to go, but this bubble of water is going to continue the flow downstream, and that is why we have flood warnings in effect for much of the mississippi and extenning to st. louis. the purple dots right there are all major flood stage, and the red dots are major flood stage, and a lot of the rivers are the highest they have seen in 20 years, so we will see the significant flooding. this one right here is in la crosse, wisconsin, is not expected to crest until thursday and almost at crest level and portions of iowa not cresting
