These achievements include the first flight and delivery of the initial round of prototype aircraft for developmental and operational assessment, the Melbourne, Florida-headquartered company announced on Thursday.
As the prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force Avionics Modernization Program Increment 2 , L3Harris is updating avionics for the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force.

The U.S. Air Force has awarded L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) a five-year, up to $668 million IDIQ contract to help maintain its C-130 aircraft fleet readiness.
