Boasting a digital backbone and the capacity to carry hypersonic weapons, the F-15EX Eagle II is poised to become a formidable backbone fighter for the US Air Force, embodying a blend of sophisticated design and powerful capabilities ready to grace the skies.

The F-15EX, designated EX3, is expected to be delivered soon, ahead of the decision for the full rate production.

The new F-15EX Eagle can notably store up to 30,000 pounds of munitions, a huge threshold when compared to the F-35 Lightning II’s internal storage capacity of 6,000 pounds. 

The F-15EX Eagle II validated the use of standoff air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons during Integrated Test & Evaluation Phase 1.
