THE Royal Navy bomb disposal team has been called to the Isle of Wight today (Sunday) after potentially explosive items were found on a beach. The Portsmouth-based team was initially called about the suspected ordnance, found at Forelands Beach, Bembridge, in the early hours of the morning, and upon arrival found a second item, removing both from the area.
