Sega has discussed its approach to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), saying it won't use the functionality in its titles if it would be "perceived as simple money-making".

Sega might not join the ranks of companies going head-first into gaming NFTs. The company has expressed caution.

The verdict? The Sega NFT strategy is basically the same as many other corporations: "can we get away with it?"
