Former Costain chief executive Andrew Wyllie has been appointed a non-executive director of housebuilder Persimmon. Chairman Roger Devlin said Wyllie’s experience in the construction industry would strengthen the board. “His industry knowledge and perspective will be a valuable addition to the board as Persimmon continues to build a sustainable business in every sense,” he said.
