- Zmarły biskup Edward nie podlega już ludzkiemu osądowi - mówił metropolita poznański abp Stanisław Gądecki. We wtorek w katedrze św. Mikołaja w Kaliszu odbyła się msza żałobna w intencji biskupa diecezji kaliskiej Edwarda Janiaka. Biskup Janiak miał wiedzieć o pedofilii na podległych mu terenach. Zmarł 23 września we Wrocławiu. Miał 69 lat.
