On May 28, the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) held an event to announce the winners of this years Best Choice Award (BC Award) for Computex 2024. A total of 41 winners were announced for the Golden Award, Sustainable Tech Special Award, and Category Award. The winner of the highest honor: the Best Choice of the Year award will be announced during the opening of Computex 2024 on June 4.

Framework's modular laptops (and mainboards) now come with Meteor Lake-H options

The new Framework Laptop 13 comes with a more efficient Intel Core Ultra processor and an optional high-resolution display.

Framework has unveiled the latest iteration of its Laptop 13, now equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 1 processors, a high-resolution 2880x1920 120Hz display option, and a new 9.2MP webcam. The new webcam technology borrows techniques from modern smartphone cameras, delivering superior low-light performance and clearer audio with its upgraded microphones.

Framework is out today with some exciting announcements from lowering the price of the existing Framework 13 with AMD Ryzen 7040 series SoC to announcing a new Framework Laptop 13 powered by Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) and having a new 2.8K display option for this modular/upgradeable laptop shipping this summer.
