Musician, event organizer, and Brassroots Festival founder Francesca Hoffman turns her sights to hospitality with the queer-focused Unicorn Bar in Kingston, a permanent venue for eclectic live shows from cabaret and burlesque to brass music.

New queer spaces are popping up across the region, including Camp Kingston and Unicorn Bar, calling back to the gathering spots of earlier decades.
