The panels could save the district an estimated $27,000 per year. They are also eligible for a $120,000 federal rebate, which they could apply for after the project is completed.

Greg Roach, superintendent of Daleville Community Schools said Monday that the project should stick to the above timeline provided materials and weather conditions cooperate.

The Anderson Board of Public Safety Monday voted to approve the contract that runs from Jan 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2026.

The clinic for city of Anderson employees opened in its new location Feb. 1 with a new provider, and city leaders hope that will lead to more participation.
