The 141-year-old Gadag Railway Station in North Karnataka is set to undergo a remarkable upgrade under the Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme. With an investment of Rs 23 crore, the station will receive a new structure with modern facilities, upgraded platforms and shelters, improved circulating area, well-demarcated parking space, landscaping, coach and train indication boards, informative signages, lifts, escalators, food court, upgraded waiting halls, WiFi facility, energy-efficient LED lighting, and more. The upgraded station aims to promote seamless travel and enhance passenger satisfaction.
