A police officer has told how he desperately tried to save Ashling Murphy by performing CPR on her while she lay in a ditch next to a canal. 

The Ashling Murphy murder trial has heard from two Gardaí who attended the scene where her body was found.

A Garda and his colleague carried out chest compressions and CPR on Ashling Murphy for 10 to 15 minutes.

First responders to the scene tell a Dublin court there were no signs of life when they found her.
