A Chattanooga man was sentenced to more than nine years in prison Friday for unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with a 2022 McCallie Avenue mass shooting incident that killed three and wounded 14.

A federal judge sentenced a man to prison for his connection to the 2022 McCallie Avenue shootings. 

Garrian King, 29, was sentenced to 110 months in prison for illegally having a gun and was also sentenced to a consecutive two years in prison in a separate case.

Three people died in the shooting and the chaos that followed.

Last year, the mass shooting on McCallie Avenue made national headlines.

She ruled in favor of prosecutors and said there was enough evidence to suggest Lewis played a role in the mass shooting on June 5th.
