Lakeland letters to the editor for Dec. 25

If you question the value of local newspapers, my answer is Gary White at The Ledger. He always has pertinent stories for us here in Lakeland and Polk County.

I doubt that there are a lot of kindergarten through grade 3 students that are transgender.

What force or directive or journalistic principle compels you to insert “false” in anyone’s claims that you are reporting?

Why would the Curmudgeon be showing, even bragging about, his bias out loud in print? Why would you publish that kind of admission?

The Ledger Animal Control employees professional, courteous but maskless I recently made the following observations. All of the employees at Publix: masked; all of the employees at Home Depot: masked; all of the employees at Pep Boys: masked, all of the employees at Burger King: masked; masked; all of the employees of the Polk County Sheriffs Office Animal Control unit: not masked.
