MAHANOY CITY â The Mahanoy Area school board rejected the sale of 18 âprivate saleâ properties for taxes at a recent meeting. The properties â 17 in Mahanoy City and one in Mahanoy Township â were presented to the school district by the Schuylkill County Tax Claim Bureau for approval.
