DelFest, the premier bluegrass festival, celebrated its 15th anniversary with a bang this Memorial Day weekend, captivating music lovers from across the country. Set against the stunning mountainous backdrop of Cumberland, Maryland, this milestone event was a testament to the festival's enduring influence and its commitment to preserving the roots of American music.

My favorite band came to town for two or three days, playing unique setlists each night and bringing along some of their favorite musical friends to play as the opening act. These openers have featured future bluegrass superstars—like Billy Strings—or new grass legends—like Railroad Earth and the Infamous Stringdusters—or local favorites—like Cris Jacobs. 

Hundreds of people came together for the annual Easter at Coolidge Park on Sunday.
