Don ford on the tough decision made just a few hours ago. Reporter the Golden Gate Bridge is in financial trouble. Serious financial trouble. Today, the board of directors took action. The Golden Gate Bridge is looking at a 48 million shortfall. The bridge says southbound traffic crossing the gate is significantly down. Bus ridership is down by 75 . And is down a shocking 96 . About 155 employees would be laid off. The total number of affected positions is a little over 200 and we have about 840 employees. So about a quarter of our workforce will be impacted.
