UPDATE: Worker identified in fatal construction incident in Cambridge Wicked Local Editor s note: This story was updated March 4 after the District Attorney s Office released the name of the worker who died, as well as more details of the incident. A stairwell under construction collapsed Wednesday morning inside a city-owned parking garage at 55 First St. in East Cambridge, killing one worker and critically injuring another. A 911 call came in around 8:23 a.m. for a partial structure collapse, according to Cambridge Fire Department Chief Gerry Mahoney. Two men were removing metal railings on a fourth-floor stairway when the structure collapsed. One of the men  later identified as 56-year-old Christopher Stuck of South Windsor, Connecticut was pinned between the fallen stairway and the second floor.
