Five people including a seven-month-old child were killed in a massive fire in a house in the Behta Hajipur village of the Loni border area in the Ghaziabad district last night, police said.

A fire broke out at a chemical factory located in the industrial area of Ghaziabad under the jurisdiction of Niwari police station in Uttar Pradesh.

The fire department officials said that the fire has not been completely under control and efforts are underway to douse the fire.

A fire broke out at a soap manufacturing factory in Ghaziabad's Bulandshahr road industrial area, informed officials on Sunday.
