BNKD President Dennis Happel reached out directly to Mayor Rob Green over email about his decision but offered no insight into why he was pulling the plan.

Mayor Rob Green said his religious beliefs prevented him from signing a Pride Month proclamation. But he had a change of heart after hearing from residents.

“We’re going to have to act on it very soon,” a city official said. “It could be a very beautiful property, but they’ve really let it deteriorate.”
