Gilda Mitchell News Today

Master Gardener Gilda Mitchell has transformed her property into one that thrives in the shade. After having deer eating her flowering shrubs, she focuses now on ferns, rice-paper plants, and banana trees in her shade-loving areas around her house. Gilda is also a skilled artist who has combined her love of pottery into unique ideas for the landscape.

Dr. Kojo Quartey, president of Monroe County Community College, will speak at the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments’ General Assembly.
